Sweet Friends

Our friends were nothing but 110% supportive. I knew they would be, they're good people. I'm certain they're still hurting, I know I would be, but they did nothing to show that to us. J was given a beer and a heart congrats and then we did our best to move to other subjects and talk about how they were doing. All in all, it went well and I am so grateful for our tremendous friends. Meanwhile, I will continue to be cautious and work not to 'rub it in'.

Side note - did any of you experience pressure in early pregnancy? I would not call it cramping as it isn't painful, but pressure is the best I can describe it. It isn't constant, but pretty frequent. Gas? I've certainly got enough bloat today for that to be the case.

  1. I'm glad they were supportive. Knowing you and J, I don't see how they couldn't be <3

And yes, pressure in 1st tri is 100% normal. Your ute is growing and stretching quite quickly. It's even normal when you stand up after sitting for awhile to feel a pull go down your leg. Fun times :)

  2. Oh yeahhh pressure..gas..cramping...weird pains. All those things to freak me out...but I was told was completely normal. I'm pretty sure my heads head is using my bladder as a pillow, because I ALWAYS feel pressure and I pee every ten minutes...

  3. yes, weird pressure and gas. I think it's because you're "hyper aware" during this time. Try not to worry.

  4. Oh sisters, yes. The gas... yikes. I appreciate the reassuring words. I wasn't panicking, but I definitely didn't feel this before. Thank you!!

  5. Yes, pressure. Especially if I stand too quickly or bend too quickly. I hope it's normal. :)

  6. Yes, completely normal. I read not to stand up too quickly or hold your urine for too long. I seem to get it every time I stand up. Completely normal!
