It is a miracle to think back to all of the things that were lined up for us to get our BFP.
*We'd just returned from the trip of a lifetime.
*We recommitted to trying again
*My mind was focused on absolutely everything, except conception (if you say 'see, you just had to relax', I will still slap you)
*We had just decided to sell our rental home to free us from the expense
*I sold my motorcycle (isn't that a safe past time for a mama to be??)
I know there are others that I'm not thinking of, but July 3rd (day before my BFP) Jeremy and I went to lunch at Panda Express before seeing Transformers 3, and I received this:
Damnit if those people at Panda Express don't know it all.
I showed it to Jeremy and said, "Oh yeah, I'm keepin' this one."
What an awesomely accurate fortune cookie!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I hate when people start in on the whole "just relax" crap, but I do think that sometimes taking the pressure off and reducing stress in general helps. It sounds like you were in a great, happy place- the perfect time for a BFP to appear!
However it happened, it's a true blessing. I am SO glad you didn't have to go through IVF and the aftermath - truely. You are one lucky gal and I am so very happy for you!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteThat's a framer. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a keeper, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you! Your great news gives me hope as someone struggling to have a baby myself. :)
